Scott Alterman, Co-Owner
Scott helps steer the Icebox ship. Admittedly, he is not exactly sure where the ship is sailing, but that is all part of the journey. Scott went to College at the University of Georgia. It was there that Scott met life time idol Richard Simmons. Richard taught Scott to think big and try to grow personally. Scott took the advice literally and is shown here sporting his size 10XL shirt that he plans to grow into. Scott has been married to his wife Leslie for 6 years and they have two boys ( Quentin and Gabriel Alterman). Scott is a sports fanatic, but considers himself a lover not a fighter. Scott is working on taking life less seriously. At the end of the day, Scott feels the hokey pokey really is what it's all about. His favorite food is a delicious glass of ice cold chocolate milk.
Donnie Browne, Chief Operating Officer
Donnie hails from the IT world, working for a company called netASPx as the Director of Professional Services and Engagement Management, where he sold and implemented Lawson Software in a managed application environment. Before that, he spent 9 years as an entrepreneur in the restaurant business, owning and operating Ernie's Steakhouse.
Donnie was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, and ended up becoming a Georgia Bulldog at the University of Georgia. He has been married for over 20 years to his wife, Julie, and together they have three children. While not looking for the next big sales deal, you can find Donnie and his family in the great outdoors camping, hiking, skiing (both water and snow), or just hanging out at their lake house.
Jordy Gamson, Chief Executive Officer
Jordy is The Icebox head Indian Chief, which he comes by naturally after having founded and acted as President / CEO for a scrap metal company and co-founded an event production company. Jordy, along with Partner Scott Alterman, started The Icebox back in 2001 and have been guiding the company ever since.
Jordy is another Southerner, having grown up in the Maitland/Winter Park area of central Florida and then moved north to go to school at the University of Florida. Jordy swears he is a "subdued Gator fan" and promises that before he left school he burned his last pair of stonewash jean shorts and cut off his Mullet. He also proudly peacefully co-exists with his Bulldog Wife Andrea as well as his Bulldog business partner Scott. Jordy adds being superstitious to his long list of quirky but harmless personality traits, claims to genuinely like most people he meets in this world, and is an eternal optimist.
In his free time, Jordy likes to hang out with his wife and their two young children Will and Ella. He also likes spending time with close friends and volunteers with local non-profits every chance he gets.
Mark Hamilton, Controller
Mark comes to The Icebox from Moxie Interactive where he started out as a financial manager and was promoted to controller, where he helped the company successfully transition from a private company to a public one. Prior to that, Mark worked at Home Depot’s headquarters, but quickly realized he wasn’t cut out for a life in corporate America.
While Mark may hold the title of uptight Controller, he is anything but your stereotypical straight-laced accountant. Mark is a windows down, music up kind of guy and you’ll find him chillin’ at The Icebox in jeans, t-shirts, and flip flops. In his free time, Mark frequents the gym, where he likes to lift, but HATES to run. Mark lives, works, and plays in the Highlands area and you can usually find him marinating at a bar or restaurant with a porch – spending about 25% of his income.
As the resident War Eagle, come football season you might find Mark in a few heated debates with his Bulldog coworkers. Mark earned his degree from the esteemed Auburn University in 2000.
Cool Fact about Mark: Mark passed the CPA exam on his first try after studying like a “leper in a clocktower.”
Katie Harrison, Office Manager
Katie was born and raised on an old cotton farm in Hiram, GA, where she had the opportunity to perfect her world-famous southern accent. She attended the very prestigious University of Georgia where she majored in SEC football and sorority...activities. She sings sorority rush songs and performs cheerleading routines on demand for the amusement of co-workers (or, let's face it, for her own amusement). Katie joined The Icebox team in April of 2002 and has been perfecting her knowledge of the promotional products industry ever since.
She is currently working on her Master's degree at Georgia State and is glad to tell you all about her thesis topic if you need to fall asleep quickly. When not working on said thesis, she enjoys playing newlyweds with husband Trae, spending time with an extensive and particularly close-knit family, and watching ABC's Lost, the greatest show ever invented in the history of earth.
Adrian Sasine, Marketing Director
Adrian hails from Corporateland, U.S.A. Icebox is now in good hands, as Adrian comes with over 10 years of marketing and promotions experience with Allstate Insurance Company. From helping grow a major brand to working with small business owners, he knows how to generate a buzz, drive sales growth and create cool experiences for customers.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Adrian went to the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!!!) and then got his MBA at Georgia State University. He married his kindergarten sweetheart and they have 2 adorable rugrats (Miles and Tatum). In his free time, you won’t find Adrian on a golf course; you’ll find him 50 feet up a tree. He’s a trained facilitator working with recreational tree climbing groups and serves on the board of the Georgia Urban Forest Council.
Regina Mitchell, Art Director
Regina's not afraid to admit she's from Alabama. Having grown up in Montgomery, and graduated from Samford University, in Birmingham, she knows that Alabama doesn't totally deserve the bad rap Georgians (and the rest of the country) give it. Regina has been with The Icebox for 6 years, and came to the company directly out of school. Her creativity and eye for detail has helped her get to the top of the art department heap, where she manages a team of artists.
When not designing for The Icebox, you can catch Regina window shopping, cooking, eating, gardening, watching movies, and eating...again... She also has a very deep and passionate love of coffee, chocolate and Beck (not necessarily in that order!)
Dirk Whitcomb, Web Services Manager
Dirk’s background in computer information systems and interactive marketing and design – coupled with his raw creative talent, makes him a perfect fit for our team. Dirk has been dabbling in all things creative since his diaper days.
He is somewhat of a Georgia celebrity. During his high school years and beyond, Dirk competed in the Savannah College of Art and Design's annual Sidewalk Arts Festival, where he took 1st place in the prospective student category in 1992 and again in 1997.
A Georgia native, he grew up in the sleepy hamlet of Locust Grove, now home of the infamous Tanger Outlet Mall. While prematurely grey, Dirk is still a youngster who enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and walking with his family and hanging out with friends.
Dirk may seem like a normal family guy on the outside, but true to his creative roots, he harbors the quirks of the truly artistic: he is a hot food fanatic and loves his eats scalding hot. No cold foods please for this genius!
A COOL Fact about Dirk: He is very passionate about Roman Catholicism and when he’s not working or with his family, you can find him volunteering with his parish in Atlanta.

Chuck Norton, Director of Operations
Chuck grew up in a house between two roads, a railroad track and a meat-packing plant, so he's definitely grounded. After graduating from Auburn University’s Textile Engineering department, Chuck tried his hand in quite a few different industries, including scientific research, journalism, and the dot-com world before finding his calling with The Icebox early in 2001.
When not working, Chuck, well, works... He's a freelance writer, has his own music-related website, and deejay's every so often. Other than that, he listens to a little too much music, dreams up a few too many restaurant ideas, and, admittedly, watches a little more sports than his wife could have ever imagined.
Frannie Spector, Purchasing Director
Having worked in this industry for many years, Frannie is our promotional merchandise guru. She has been with The Icebox from the beginning, and has worked with several other promotional merchandise companies during her career. Frannie grew up in Memphis ,TN , and graduated from the University of Alabama – Roll Tide! Outside of work, she enjoys playing tennis (and even won a very shiny trophy in her visionary tennis league!) She is also a self-proclaimed warehouse of completely useless knowledge, making her quite an asset when playing team trivia. A "guilty pleasure" of Frannie's would consist of eating dark chocolate while watching American Idol.
Ping, Official Mascot
Ping is the über cool, fun-loving official mascot of The Icebox. Ping made his inaugural debut at an Atlanta Thrasher's game in 2008, where he wowed the crowd with his athletic prowess while playing dodgeball. When he's not chilling out in his nest at The Icebox, Ping can be found at charity events around town, attending local sporting events, partying with other mascots, and attending festivals and birthday parties. Wherever The Icebox is sponsoring an event, Ping is sure to be found!
Although his demeanor can seem cold as ice when he's playing a mean game of dodgeball with other mascots, Ping is actually a very sweet guy. This bird loves a crowd and is often surrounded by adoring fans – both children and adults.
